rain rain go away

no seriuosly, this rain is borderline ridiculous. all of the cliche little sayings (i.e. raining on my parade, bursting my bubble, making lemonade out lemons, etc.) don't come close to summing up the saddening situation surrounding missing my favorite summertime concert, dmb. a combination of a 2 1/2 hr delay, "extrememely dangerous 60 mph winds & severe storms", hungry bellies, and a poodle in need of being let out all led to missing the concert. bummer...i'll now have to rely on my ipod for the next couple years till i can see him (dave) live again. on the bright side, steve and i made the most of our 2 hr wait in the car with some interesting conversation, watching some brave/fearless hippies running around in the lightening storm?!?, and we did some exploring with the timer on our camera...check it out for yourself. they are silly and completly fitting to our moods at the time caused by cabin/car fever.
