Real Housewives of Indianapolis?
it's time to come clean. i have a guilty pleasure of watching some really terrible, some may say trashy, tv. most recently i've been staying up with the real housewives of orange county. to be honest, i've watched episodes from all the cities they've filmed and although i don't necessarily have a favorite season, i do find that gretchen (from orange county), and bethenny (from ny) are able to hold my attention best. i'm working through bethenny's book right now: Naturally Thin: Unleash Your Skinnygirl. not a bad read...i'm sure i'll blog about it in the near future. okay so my point...this is very subjective, but i think my friends are hilarious and that together we do some pretty entertaining things that aren't super expensive, are worthy of out loud laughing, and can ocassionaly be classified as atypical. moreover, we're loyal and respectful to one and have a great friend type chemistry together. our husbands are almost as funny and would make great supporting cast members. it wouldn't make for overly dramatic television, but i think we could do an indianapolis based housewives. it'd be a nice dose of true reality with an innocent full house kind of twist. haha, i just referenced full house. so i stayed up late on friday brainstorming what i thought would be the best time of year to film the real housewives of indianapolis and came up with: summer. from weddings, bingo halls, to fish frys, county fairs, truck pulls, dirt track racing, camping and canoeing, dog park trips, fundraisers, and lazy poolside days we would provide plenty of quality film footage for bravo. and that list is mostly a summary of our "hendricks county hillbilly tour 2009". who knows what could happen if we needed to expand our adventures! i talked it over with some friends during dinner last night and they (the girls at least) were totally in favor of this crazy idea of mine. i'm sure indiana is not a likely candidate for the filming spot of the real housewives, but if it is i think i'll give it a shot and apply. till then i won't be holding my breath :o)
