i think that i just now broke one of my goals for 2010....i haven't blogged since dec 9 and therefore that makes my blogging 1x wkly stretched out to nearly 2 wks this go 'round, oops.after an action packed weekend in detroit visiting our very best friends, having small group ladies over to wrap presents and more presents, cheering on our respective teams @ two nfl games, swinging by chicago for a weekend, celebrating Christmas with our hometown friends donning our most frightful holiday sweaters, hanging out with out-of-town friends, and now gearing up for wicked tonight have all made this a whirlwind month. but i'll always choose an action packed calendar over anything less....talk to my significant other and he wouldn't say the same. :o)
below i listed some seasonal Christmas situations that have recently happened (many times!). each can be followed with: "'tis the season"
-sliding through red lights...'tis the season
-finding a certain poodle buried in the snow...'tis the season
-baking lots of cookies...'tis the season
-standing in line for the bathroom at target(?!)...'tis the season
-hanging up Christmas cards...'tis the season
-thanking God for sending us Jesus...'tis the season
-burning all of my taste buds off from hot chocolate...'tis the season
-meeting my hubby under the mistletoe...'tis the season
-being very thankful for a working heated blanket...'tis the season
-no i do not want you to straighten my hair, nor do i want a pillow pet, not even a trial massage(hello, creepy!!) or any of your silky smooth hand treatments, thanks though...'tis the season
