april 27, 2010 marked a very special day for
steve and me. first, it was our 2 1/2 yr wedding
anniversary and second, 4 yrs ago we went out on our first date....
awww. we've made it a nice little tradition to revisit the ram each year on 4/27 since that's where we first dined (and where memories were made after a pitcher of beer and many mixed drinks were dumped on me). to add to the tradition we also request to sit in the same booth, yes dorky...but we do it. last night the wait staff went out of their way to make the
renzinos feel extra special with a table settings and cloth, cutesy little candles on the table, congratulations from the manager and wait staff, and a FREE dessert...okay, so every year we get a free dessert of our choosing, but it never gets old or goes unnoticed by us. so b/c of that the ram has an
appreciation letter in the mail :o)
i'm beyond bummed that i neglected to snap a picture of us last night. i had on a cute new dress and
steve was looking very sharp and even had a freshly shaved face. so
i'll now have to keep that visual memory stored somewhere in my mind and instead
i'll post a picture from
sunday's mutt strut featuring my two favorites. we enjoyed this day just as much, despite the
torrential downpour for our 2.5 mile walk.
minnie was not excited about having her picture taken on the yard of bricks, maybe next year :o)
