we're baaack!

after a one year hiatus dvc2k is making a strong comeback to danville's relay for life. this great organization raises a crazy amount of money for cancer research, offers a time to celebrate life and remember those who have lost their own personal battles to cancer. in a 24 hr time period wherein there are multiple teams, at least one member from each team must be on the track walking/running. since cancer never rests neither do we during the entire event. that's not hard to not do since we all know one another well, are all easily entertained, and we find one another amusing. a group initially comprised with high school friends has blossomed into something bigger. we've now added siblings, friends, friends of friends, and anyone else who has a heart for changing how cancer affects our lives. this is an exciting planning period that is only in the initial stages...much more to come!
