adventures in canoeing

this is the last picture i have of steve and i before our 10 mile canoe trip. not pictured, steve's wedding band. which unfortunately, will not be pictured ever again after we experienced quite the spill in turkey run state park. while chasing down coozies, shoes, life jackets, and our cooler steve's ring came loose and now has a new home in the bottom of sugar creek. silly creek.

overdue

after 3 years steve's grad school classes are complete and currently he is for hire as a school administrator! i am proud and very happy that i don't have to share him with the library, classmates, or for meetings with his profs any longer! however, we now have red & white degree amidst our black & gold....mixed emotions rise in me over this.

stache for the cash

i don't know how but this stache managed to raise a lot of money to help tornado & flood victims in the south.
i have just 1 word: creeper!!

guilty

after uploading pics from this wknd i realized i forgot to add this one a while ago.
exhibit a: minnie caught red handed snacking on jelly beans from one of my little ones easter gifts. she couldn't bring herself to even look at steve or me.

yay to God for giving us the determination to do it and to dave ramsey for providing the know how!

reflection

2000 years later here i am reflecting back on Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, his burial, and later resurrection. what a mighty God we serve who chose to come to earth, live a truly pure life completely free of sin all so that we might one day be able to live in heaven with Him. thank you Jesus!

while organizing some pictures i realized that i have taken several shots of minnie's toys in some peculiar places. it seems like we're always looking for a missing toy....maybe we should look before we launch :o)
